Sunday afternoon

And so here I am, on a bright lovely Sunday afternoon, taking in the aroma of my mum's cooking, typing away on my laptop in a leisurely manner, YET GRUMPY ON THE THOUGHT OF HOW MY WEEKEND IS COMING TO AN END!!!

I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why is my rest time always so short? Why can't I have less work and more time to do my own stuff? Why is my brain shutting down on itself and my eyes slowly drifting off to sleep mode? Why oh why????

If I continue, I know my list will never end and mum will definitely tell me that I need to go take a nap cos I am not in a good mental state. I can't stop and so I use my blog as a channel for me to vent my anger and frustration.

Pity you but I really have too much to say. My new timetable sees me staying in school on the first 2 days of the week from 8.30 to 5.30. Let's not forget the travelling time that you have to take into consideration. I feel so tired and sometimes I just wish that I can turn into a superwoman when I snap my finger.

My latest assignment requires me to read alot of newspapers and search for 20 different types of grammatical terms. No matter how much I love this module, reading newspaper can be a tedious chore. I have never read so many newspaper in my life for the past week. Though it is almost completed, I still can't shake off the analysing part because whenever I see any words, I will start analysing and grouping them into the various classes.

Scary but true. My tutor said that's the highest attainable level and it means you are a pro now. Good or bad, you decide.

Now, I have to attend an appointment with DSS, hope everyone enjoying their weekend.

Should I or should I not blog about this?

Well, since I'm writing, might as well share with you...

I hate working with a particular group of people. You do know that you are in school learning to teach using a particular language and yet your keep using your mother tongue to converse with the other members of the group! Apparently I am the only chinese in the group and this is so rude!

Understand what i am saying?

Imagine:

Me: So are we meeting tomorrow to get the book?

She: (checking with the other girl of the same race) apapapapapappaapappaappapapapapap.....

Me: listening and yet trying not to show my frustration cos they had been doing this for the past 2 hrs...

After five min later, and I was damn urgent, I asked with a pleasant tone and sweet smile: So, tomorrow am I still meeting you guys?

She: Ya! (surprised tone) Like what I say just now, dont worry we wun leave you alone! (with a haha)

Me: Oh, cos I dun understand your language.

My other evil twin was thinking, "i wish u pass your english!"

I am not trying to be rude la but honestly dun u think there should be some form of professionalism? My tutor kept saying that one way to improve their use of English is to use them in their daily lives. Come on, you are having an English class and you speak that?!?!

CAnt stand them..... totally regret going to work with them... imagine how our meeting will turn out!

Last week, I was still complaining about school and how long I have to spend in school each day (due to the stupid 3-hrs break on Mon and Tues), before I knew it, 1 and a half week are gone! Fast huh! Busy busy... Assignments are slowly accumulated and i have no motivation to study even though i know there's things to keep me occupied.

Anyway, lately I have been very addicted to LADY GAGA!!! Did you hear her songs? Well, des is a fan of her so he bought her latest cd and the ra ra ah a a just can't get out of my head! Love her man, her weird attitude, outlandish outfits and her easy to hum along songs! who say you have to follow the fashion trend? she proves us wrong! she started hers and no one dare to comment cos she dun give a damn abt it! I want to be like this. haha

PS: you should read 8 days! I got a shock from seeing what she wore! haha

A happy ending

I havent been talking about this on my blog for a nong nong nong time... Guess I am not willing to talk about it or I have been thinking about it ever since I last blog abt it. Today I received an email that I have been looking forward to and I am glad that I have gotten the reply I always wanted. Something that allows me to voice out about what have been bottling up in my heart for so long and something that also tells me that she understands what she did and would like to apologise for. Once again, i need to make this clear. Friends are my support and family is my shield. There's no way I would compromise them for some retards or jerks out in this mysterious world. So, I started the things not because I am jealous or what. But because I care and I do not want the person whom I always care to upset me over and over again.


An happy ending is what I will say and I would not bring this up again as I am grateful for what I have right now. A supportive family (well, not always! hahaha), a caring boyfriend (sometimes can be very irritating! hengster, you better take nice pics of me ah!) and a gang of great friends (meet up more often lei!).

My China Trip- 6-8 (Shanghai)

夜上海, 夜上海, 你是个不夜城...

And so goodbye Hangzhou, and here comes Shanghai! It took us almost 4 hrs to reach Shanghai that day. We were caught in a traffic jam as people from other provinces were entering Shanghai to spend their weekends. My oh my, what can I say about Shanghai? People always say Shanghai is the best place in China to experience their night life. For me, I think that's the only attraction and splendour of Shanghai.

The ladies from Shanghai are very brand-conscious when compared to ladies from other parts. They worked hard and wouldn't mind spending one month's salary on designers' bags. By the way, their average salary is around RMB 2000. After converting to Singapore dollars, that's roughly 400? Not alot right but all I am trying to emphasize here is the Shanghai 姑娘 are more arrogant and when they choose husbands, they have many requirements.

So, we reached Shanghai around evening and after dinner, we set off to Huangpu River黄浦江, where we will take a ferry ride to experience the beauty of上海. Damn cold the place is!
