To tide me through my stressful exam period, I made a list of things that I can look forward during my 3-month holiday. I have already cleared two from the list, one being the Yunnan trip and the other is a zoo trip with Lucas.
Lucas is growing up fast, incredibly fast. I don't know how he or my sister does it but one day, I hope he recalls his childhood and he will say, "Oh, Ah Yi brought me to the zoo when I was young and we saw ZEBLA." (Insider joke haha...)
So, bro got the pass for us and together with mum, sis and des, we headed down to the zoo. Too bad, Lucas seemed to be in a bad mood that day and the weather was too humid.
Spot the monkeys...
So cute... Bai Mao the Monkey
Ally the Alligator
Ah Gui the Tortoise
My hairs stand every time I see this picture. This proboscis monkey looked toooooooooo freakingly human! Look at those limbs! This is one of the scariest animals in the world IMO. According to the description, big is better for the proboscis monkeys. Now I know why Jackie Chan is such a Casanova cos he's a relative of them.
Our chauffeur for the day who loves to visit zoo with Lucas again alone. HAHAHAHA...
I wonder if he understood what he saw...
Tapir
Boars that are way too smelly
Then, it was my favourite animal in the zoo! The white tigers! Before that, we took some shots with the statue!
I like this picture :)
Take One: trying to figure where to put my hand
Take Two
Take Three
Here come the stars...
What an irony! I fear domestic cats but yet I am awed by the strength and beauty that these big cats possess!
Sunbathing...
all went into hiding...
Cassowary whose kick can be deadly.
Sis was pointing out to me how the animals in Australia are mostly endemic. She thought she just came up with a brilliant point until I explained why using the Bio knowledge that I learnt last semester. LOL
Baboons
To end off this post, we brought Lucas to the kiddy play area of the zoo and we saw a pony.
I guess he was curious.
This timid boy pulled back his hand when his mother tried to get im to pat the pony. Scaredy cat! haha...
In conclusion, a day out with Lucas almost used up all my energy. Geez, I wonder how my sis does it.
