I am even more drained by work... Work has been stressful and totally different from what i expected. Sometimes i am asking myself, mayb what i am experiencing now is the worst teaching can get. Having a class of rebellious P4 boys who dun listen and emphatize the teacher, this is REALLI the worst i can get... The problem lies with not just the class,I was given a UPPER PRI level to teach when I am just a contract teacher.. haiz... that's not all! If u think that teaching means short working hrs, u are even more WRONG.. Have been staying back quite frequently this week... Trying to stay on par with the rest of the teachers so that i can finish my syllabus on time.. i managed but whether the students realli know what i am teaching is another thing.. teaching is not just a job where u educate them, u have to be responsible for their conduct in sch too.. if they dun hand in homework, u still have to call the parents, take disciplinary action.. and dun forget the admin work! weekly department meeting, sch events and piles n piles of marking.. u need to collect their homework, chase after them and keep reminding them.. even if u reminded them many times, they still can forget to bring or do! yes, this is what u get... haiz, i wonder if i am like this in the past... SEE, THIS IS HOW TAXING TEACHING CAN BE! I seriously hope that i am facing the worst situation! If this is the worst i can get, then i wish my future will be lot easier..
